Threaded rods are mainly used in structural timber engineering for cross-tension reinforcement of large-dimension timber components. We have two versions in our program: With a hexagonal head, our threaded rod with head is screwed in via a nut in the screwdriver.For the threaded rod without head, you need the screw-in sleeve. It is simply inserted into the hexagon socket of the threaded rod, which can then also be screwed in using a screwdriver. What this means for you is that you can efficiently produce heavy-duty transverse tension and compression reinforcements without the sometimes annoying hexagonal head.
