Vario hold down

Two sizes are available for our SPAX tie rod Vario SXHDL, which measure 240 and 280 mm in height respectively. Common to both are the many features that distinguish this tie rod: The oblong hole of 18 x 26 mm gives you some room for correction during installation, and the reduced nail pattern helps you to maintain the required minimum distances - a real installation aid. The Vario SXHDL is also approved for installation over intermediate layers such as chipboard or OSB boards, which are used as planking in timber frame construction, for example. These must be taken into account in the design. Our tie rod is mounted with 12 or 16 mm diameter dowels, depending on the specific static requirement and the selected pressure plate. For fastening with a 12 mm dowel you need the SXBP L14 x 26 pressure plate, for a 16 mm dowel the SXBP L18 x 26 pressure plate. For you, this means: easy mounting even with an imprecise drill hole, heavy-duty connection.
